Default 718 Spyder Rear Spoiler wiggle question

My new Spyder finally had its perpetual spoiler erection fixed by way of a replacement of the rear spoiler drive unit, due to faulty internal position sensor. It now works as it should. I do have a question which I hope another Spyder owner can answer.

Does your spoiler in either tucked or extended position wiggle a teeny bit when grasped and moved?
Thanks in advance.

Referring to the "Spyder's" spoiler now... yes I noticed this as well, I don't recall my 981 GTS spoiler doing this?

Do the 981 wing risers fit the 718?

If you wiggle it too much you may run into the same problem as before!

I can see that this topic can only go one way... boys will be boys!

I'll clarify and indulge, here goes.

Does your "spoiler" stay very firm to the touch when extended or stowed or is it somewhat limp?

Any takers?

Just went and wiggled my spoiler when it was down. Not limp, but definitely a little soft !!

Yes, "soft" is what mine is and I was wondering whether that is normal. Not sure whether it'll hold up with all the pounding its likely to get.

Well, I have driven pretty hard for about 1400 miles, and mine always appears to have risen to the occasion without a problem

Mine is rock solid... it wouldn't move even when I jumped up and down on it... I jest. It moves a bit, but not overly so when in the down position, I didn't try it when it was extended. I think that the design allows for a bit of movenent.

Mine also has a slight wiggle. Nothing too pronounced.

Thank you all for your input. I guess mine is now normal. Phew!
