Rather than waiting for a 2021 allocation I snagged an inventory car from Rive-Sud Porsche in Montreal. They have 6, now 5 GT4s in stock. Some of the other dealers have a few as well.

Congrats! I just posted something similar over on the Canada sub-forum. Between Ontario and Montreal, looks like there are at least 20 GT4s in inventory. Eyeing some of the low-spec options myself...Gentian blue with 2-ways or Black with buckets?? Decisions, decisions...
Did the sales person happen to mention why they had so many in inventory (cancelled orders, not enough interest originally?)?
I just picked up a Miami blue that a customer decided to drop and wait for the PDK next year here in Quebec City. Besides that all their cars are spoken for as I've been bugging them for an allocation all summer long. It's funny as there are a few white and black ones people are trying to flip for 10-20k over on trader.ca, so good luck with that. Glad there's enough cars for the enthusiasts for once.
Checking the Alberta dealer sites and on the Porsche new inventory search, there should be ~5 GT4s available right now in the province. Edmonton has a nicely specced Black GT4 while Calgary has some subset of moderate to lightly specced GT4s including 1 Gentian Blue (heard this is now sold), 1 Guards Red, 2 GT Silver and 1 White if the inventory is to be believed; the Porsche site has a different inventory than the dealer site.

I was told that there were a few allocations left over and since RS was the biggest Cayman dealer in canada they got most of the allocations.

Yep, speculators are going to lose out on this one. And even with this new abundance, its still a very rare car that will hold its value if that matters to you.

A lot of the unsold cars are incoming and not listed on their site. I emailed dealers mid-July and 4 out of 5 dealers had unsold GT4s incoming, Montreal and Ontario. I was able to find about 5-6 different available GT4s with LWBs. I looked with my local dealer through their system and there was at least that many with the P11 (LWB) spec available. So what was incoming then has probably hit the shores by now.
