Brad, Congrats on a great first and great looking Porsche...
regarding the scrapes on the front lip.. I own a GT3 that sits lower than that.. and a crazy driveway/other areas to get around town..
Just approach slowly and turn front lip 45 degrees then back straight as the front lip lifts up.. you'll be amazed at the tight angles/entrances you'll be able
to maneuver without scrapes... ENJOY!

Great car and a great story we can all relate to. Your build is beautiful. I hope you have years of enjoyment with it. We're a (two) Mini family too, and we used to be an M-car family -- but the company moved in the wrong direction on many fronts. Hence my looking for something lighter and better balanced, which lands me here. I'm going wager that when you turn 55 your mind might push you back to adding something to the garage that has a manual transmission. (before they become extinct) Please don't forget us all here and post some more pics as time allows.

Ahhhhh, yes I'll be happy to, but I *just* dropped it off at the warehouse where it's living until we get a garage built, and I won't be taking it out again for several weeks. Sadly the car won't be coming home to live until late-summer most likely. But I'll put a note down on my To Do List which means it will get done. Sorry for the delay.
