Hello Members,
I have been lurking on the site for a long time and have always wanted a Porsche. Looked at pre-owned and new 911 but deep down wanted a GT car. However a GT3 is out of budget and a 2016 GT4 prices are holding pretty well. I decided to reach out to my local dealer to see if I could potentially secure a GT4 (we only have 1 dealer in my city). I have always been told that GT cars are for VIP/known clients, after a week I put a deposit down and now the wait begins. I requested delivery in spring 2021 because it would be pointless to have the car in winter.
This is my first Porsche and I hope to have many more in the future.
I have been with the BMW family for the past 15 years and have tried many of their vehicles. Most recently M4 and just got my ordered X3M competition 2 months ago.
Here is my build:
Guards Red
Standard black/alcantara interior
Two-zone climate control
Luggage net
Smoking Package
LED headlights
Light Design
Power folding mirrors
Steering wheel rim with top center marking in red
Bose
Full bucket seats
Auto dimming mirrors
Navigation
Chrono Package
Wheels painted in Satin Aurum
Seatbelt in guards red
Stainless steel door sills illuminated

Congratulations on the build. Waiting is tough. Mine was built yesterday. Now for the wait for the boat ride.

There were reports on the 981 GT4 that the rear wing kind of interfered with the dimming mirrors due to blocking of headlights from cars behind.
If you use an iphone you might be better off getting Apple Car Play instead of Navigation (you won't like the yearly renewal cost)
