Default Pilot holes on bumper?

Anyone with a US spec GT4 or Spyder get what look pilot holes for a euro spec front plate on their front bumper? I've never seen it on a car before. Doesn't seem right

(65 mile Spyder review: yeah, just buy one. No, doesn't sound like a GT3, but it sounds great and the handling, gear box, power and looks are fantastic)

Yes - noticed these as well when cleaning bug guts recently. Kind of annoying, but they aren't that big of a deal

Like I said no big deal... IIRC, the 987 Spyder has them as well.

Dimples. Yep. I asked the same question a few days ago. They are not for a Euro spec plate. They align perfectly with the mounting holes for the US spec plate mount. But they are only like 1mm. Hardly noticeable

Once you put Xpel/PPF over it you'll see it even less if at all.

Yep, I have my Dealer on a wild goose chase at the moment to figure out if this was done at the factory or Porsche North America because I thought mine was the only one, but this has given me some solace - although mildly annoying. These pilot holes and the fact that they put the satellite 'wart' receiver between the beautiful rear humps (but not on the Euro cars) are unforgivable aesthetic sins by Porsche.

You can still see it... I thought I had air bubbles until I read this thread

Since the OP has not come back I can only assume that he is off driving!

He said spaced at the European plate size... on my Spyder front bumper ( and I suspect) the rest of us they are for the North American Standard plate spacing.

Dimples that are rather deep. Please put PCNA on a wild goose chase to have them *not* put these on the exterior of the cars, they could be put on the interior or a template could be made available.

When I went to pick up my car, the front dimples were one of the first things I noticed. It might have been more visible because the car was just detailed and was inside with lots of overhead lighting so the dimples were more apparent. I don't really notice them anymore even though I know they are there.
