they are simply "rebroadcasting" the same report ... so its not independent confirmation (sadly)

2021 allocations open up tomorrow, I was told today PDK will be an option for my September build. I was previously told it wasn’t going to be.

I guess there’s going to be an announcement tomorrow or Thursday from what I was told. We’ll see...

which makes sense with the article that appeared then disappeared ... someone jumped the gun!

will keep an eye on the configurator - the $64k question will be what will the PDK ratios be, and how will it affect the cars performance vs. 6MT ratios ...

Volkswagen & Audi use "DCT"; Porsche uses "PDK". 'Nuff said.

Don't forget to let us know what the price will be on the PDK option.

If those base prices for the base cayman and Boxster are accurate... pricing is increasing.

Also my money is that the PDK will be the exact same as the other 4 pot 718s

+1 ... seems unlikely that much will change - I wonder what, if any differences (oil cooler?) the CS has over the 718 PDK - might be an indicator of what the PDK for the GT4/Spyder might be???

There are new standard features though. I have not done the math to know if there is an increase remaining after the new standard features are added, but also who knows if that’s all the new standard features.

I much prefer the al la carte methodology personally.
