Wow, that's eff'd up. I surprised Porsche even allowed that.
Just wondering if any of you who chose this colour also strongly considered racing yellow? I’ve seen them both in person and I like both, they seem to be a similar “density” of colour and the light plays of the colours in a similar way.
I think the red top looks incredible on Silver, Chalk, White or Black. I just wish it didn't have to be bundled with the red interior. Otherwise, I would have loved to get the red top with bordeaux red, deviated stitching, gauges and belts.
In case someone is interested...Carmine Red, rather than Guards Red, though...1/43 scale...around $60...modelcarsales.eu...first I have found of the 982...may have the GT4 and others there, too...
+1 This is RIDICULOUSLY good looking! Black wheels/calipers...Bravo! My only gripe...and I'm nit-picking here...is the amber signals...well...and the sofa seats...but rest is immaculate.
A few shots from an article a few months ago—worth including in this thread. Looks a touch closer to Carmine here, but it’s still Guards at the end of the day.
I had a GR981 Spyder (sold to navarro) and I'm signing for a GR718 Spyder tomorrow. GRed is the best color IMHO. When I went to meet ups all the other Spyder cars were silver and my red car got all the attention. If all goes well I'll post pics in a couple days. I didn't get to order this time, but at least it's GRed, I can live without the LWBs and the Burmester..
