I tried to balance a splash of red East and West and then north and south of the center of the car. The dials didn't have anything to balance the red on the passenger side. I know that sounds really silly! To me, it looks better balanced the way it came out.

Damn, never heard such an analysis and reasoning! Well done!
Stitching (extended + steering column), Seat belts, and the 12 o clock marker are all red. I went with the carbon trim since I like a subdued interior with just some accents.
I think that will look great. The integrated red (from stitching in leather) will spread the red around so you won't notice the individual splashes of red. It should look real good in a different way. Then the red dial would have looked too much of red. Good choice!
Blackholescion, could you check if the cabin has a Sound Symposer or whatever it is called that pipes the exhaust sound in? According to JANKO, GT4 has it (not the Spyder); but, no one else ever said that. It's probably on the firewall between the seats or thereabout. Thanks.

For reference, the Sound Symposer is a tube running from the intake to the cabin intended to bring in engine noises to the cabin. On the 981 GTS, the tube came into the cabin in the circled spot (on the firewall between the seats, behind the carpet).
Thanks wizee. I knew about that with GTS and regular 982 models. Would be surprised if the GT4 gets that gimmick not withstanding that its the actual intake sound.
Wow wow wow! Beautiful car! I have a Guards Red GT4 currently sitting at Emden waiting for a boat ride across the pond.
Props to you for going with the gold wheels! I debated back and forth about the Satin Aurum wheels more than any other option in the car, but in the end and I chickened out and went with Satin Platinum.
Seeing these pics make me think I might have made the wrong choice.......
Please post pics when your GT4 arrives. (I have the same GR and wheel options ordered on my Spyder.)
