GR + Aurum does look fantastic! I wonder how Python Green would look with Aurum in real life, especially on a Spyder...

Congratulations! Love GR with gold wheels. Looks as good as with silver. How do you like it so far? Driving impressions?

Thanks! I love the combo. I'll start a new thread with impressions and a review of my PEC experience soon. I drove a GT4 on the PEC track and then I drove mine 500 yards into a trailer where it's sat at the detailer since. Ha.

But driving on track, it's incredible. confidence inspiring. You really can tell everything the chassis the doing just from the seat of your pants. I was traction control off and 28 MPH on the kick plate by my fourth run at the PEC. The tl;dr is simply that it's a car that I will never sell. It is the best sports car at any price point and I stand behind that. When I think of a track/street car that is N/A and a manual and feels as good as the GT4 does with the mid engine balance, I can't really think of a better car. Short of the gearing (I echo Matt Farah in that I wish I could shift more, but I didn't notice it on the PEC track while driving), it's perfection. I come from 10 years of turbo cars. I never once felt like the GT4 was slow. So there's that.

I am humbled by the awesomeness of this beautiful beast that has finally arrived. I can't wait to physically see it.

Raghu, looks awesome! How did you get only the dash trim to be red while the door pieces are black? Or is that what happens when you don't order leather interior?

That's a ringing endorsement! Glad to know that 982 gen has clearly moved the goal post far far ahead!

Completely agree on the gearing. It's a total let down. 987 gen wasn't much better to begin with. 981 gen made it worse. But, 982 gen made it even more worse! Just pretty fu%*ed up! Our best bet is changing the Final Drive. I was all set to change it; but, the Covid thing put a break on my road trip to have it done. Will have to be next year. With your GT4, you may wanna wait until the powertrain warranty runs out. If you like shifting, a lot, as I do, then the Vmax in at least first 3 gears got to go low!

Congratulations! Another GR! Is there a reason why you chose not to get Instruments Dials in GR? Readability issues in certain lighting conditions?

hf1,

Thank you so much. The latter would be accurate. I wanted a minimalistic interior red splash so I ordered standard interior / black alcantara.

I went back and forth on the red face sport chrono. Now I see I have made a terrible mistake! Looks great!

Thanks rider.

I tried to balance a splash of red East and West and then north and south of the center of the car. The dials didn't have anything to balance the red on the passenger side. I know that sounds really silly! To me, it looks better balanced the way it came out.

Wow. Almost went with the aurum wheels for my built but decided to go with the dark Grey « stock » as I didn’t think gold wheels would look good with any thing but a black or white car.

But the gold wheels do look amazing with the red exterior.

congrats.

Thanks, and don't worry about not going with the red chrono. I don't think it will matter in the long run. Did you add anything else red inside in your build?

Stitching (extended + steering column), Seat belts, and the 12 o clock marker are all red. I went with the carbon trim since I like a subdued interior with just some accents.
