Had so much fun at my first track day at PCA-Chicago's event at Road America. Someone snagged this lovely shot of my Spyder coming out of turn 14 into the straight.
I thought about trying Porsche's Aurum Gold center caps but that color seemed a much stronger Gold than the Apex Motorsport Gold, which is a very bright, almost Silver Gold color. I then saw Doug Demuro's review of the 992 GT3 Touring which was GB with gold wheels and it had the black with silver center locks on it, and thought it looked great. The black also ties into my black calipers and wheel lugs. Could have went with colored crests but, again, the gold in the crests is much stronger than the gold wheels and didn't want it to clash.
Keep thinking about getting the same wheels in platinum/anthracite
Would look great, no doubt. The wheel design is fantastic. They are also much lighter than stock. I have yet to take the car out for a real drive to see if I can notice any difference but eager to.
I was thinking of the same wheels in the same color. Now I know what it'll look like! Thanks!
Also my new-to-me 2020 GT4, currently with 600+ miles on the ODO.
Beautiful example. I obviously feel the bright gold wheels look great with the GB paint, but I would suggest you seek out some pics of the gold wheels with yellow calipers before making your final decision. I'm a bit OCD with that stuff so may not be a big deal for others but I'm not sure I would have went with the gold wheels if my calipers weren't black. I would have likely went with the anthracite.

I'm sure it would look wonderful! Just trying to see if this car will be a permanent one or just an in between step to a 991.2 GT3 before I invest more in mods for this car. Will need to rent one to make a proper decision. The engine of the GT3 is on another level, but not sure how much I can utilize it in my normal use conditions and if it's actually worth $75k or so delta. Love the Spyder but also love the way that GT3 engine sounds... So torn in between.
