Default Miami Blue GT4 Just Arrived

So, I had been on a waiting list to place an order since June 2019 and was probably going to wait some more until I could place an order. I wanted Miami Blue, 18-way (+ heated seats), PCCB, and gray stitching.
Well, I was looking at all of the cars pop up for deliveries and it was making me impatient.
Then, lo and behold, one with about 95% of the spec I wanted popped up for sale (and available!) in Naples, FL. Within a couple hours of e-mailing I had my name on it, and now about 2 weeks later it's in my garage!
Am I the first one to buy one off the lot?

Spec is here: http://www.porsche-code.com/PL8A85W6

I've already replaced the yellow markers with the clear ones I had on my previous 718 2.0T (not in these pictures).

Driving thoughts (I've driven maybe 10-15mi so far):
- The suspension is even more sorted and compliant than my 718 Cayman Base. It's not softer it's just.... better.
- The exhaust sounds plenty fine stock. I may want an aftermarket one in the future but I am more than happy as is.
- PCCB are a little squeaky (knew this going in)
- MT feels great, reverse takes some getting used to (first MT Porsche. I like the "push-down" lockout of my VW Golf previously more than this)
- My front splitter already became briefly acquainted with a parking curb. It's fine, it's just now broken in

I feel slightly bad that I "jumped the line" - but I'm not sorry I got almost the exact car I want with the rest of summer to enjoy it

Congrats on the great catch! Stunning car in a stunning color! I Wish I had the ***** to go for MB! The yellow accents with CF interior trim really complements the look perfectly. Enjoy in safety and good health!

Mine, now due August instead of July, is also Miami Blue. No wimpy colors for us!

Congrats! So was this a car someone ordered and then backed out on? Their loss is your gain if so!

Congrats. Miami is a great colour on the GT4. I would have done it on the Spyder but it just doesn’t translate to my eye. The yellow stitch is an interesting combo as well. Not sure on paper but it seems to work great in the flesh.

I am with you on the reverse functionality. I would prefer a better defined lockout mechanism.

No idea. Don't really care either way at this point though haha

Well yea - I was going to order silver but this had yellow. It wasn't a dealbreaker for me

guess I misunderstood, you called it gray stitching
I thought you were referring to the color in the car you have, not the color you wanted

the combo you have is in my TOP TWO list, the other being Gentian Blue with yellow stitching and PCCB

Great Looking car and congratulations again!

p.s. too bad Miami Blue is going away...so looks like I'll have to settle for Shark Blue if it's the replacement for Miami

p.s. you'll never guess what color of stitching I have

GT4 looking awesome in Miami Blue! Congrats! The easiest way to put the trans in reverse I've found is to put the car in first gear and then quickly come to neutral and then next time you try to put in first, it should easily unlock the reverse. No hustling needed. Mind sharing some exhaust sound?

The steering wheel stitching used to be matched with the rest of the interior.

I believe the steering wheel stitching only matches if you stay with the alcantara wheel. Switch to the leather wheel and you lose the deviated stitching.
