Recording exhaust sound is dependant on so many factors (equipment used, indoor vs outdoor, position of microphone etc...) that we need a side by side video of stock car and this car in same environment and recording equipment to really make a sense of this.

Kart125 I agree and am always amazed that these companies, who’s sole purpose is basically to sell you an exhaust, and don’t do the basics like that. And there’s not even a shot of the product before install, no sound under load etc. The Cargraphic vid was the same thing.

The trouble with a heck of lot of these non-OEM exhausts is that they are loud...but....they don't sound all that much like a Porsche F6. Eyes closed, it could be anything. In this instance, std exhaust sounds better.

Agree with Chris; flat-6 sound signature should be maintained. Loud doesn't mean better. Before changing the exhaust, I would do the following, for the US-spec:
1. Make the valve flaps to open all the time. This brings back the sound with downshift blips.
2. Add GPF-Delete pipe, such as the one from JCR. Yes, we don't get GPF. But, the straight-through inert filters do impact the sound, negatively.
I suspect, 1 and 2 will keep the stock sound signature; but, amplified. And, much better!
And, I would rather want to hear sound clips from inside as the driver shifting through the gears near redline. That'll be true representation of real-world returns on mods.

That does sound amazing, glad to see the mods are really making a positive difference. Just frustrating we all have to "fix" it. It's hilarious to see how people just can't be pleased, before it's too quiet, and now, it doesn't sound like a "pure" flat 6. Ridiculous.
When you compare to their with OPF video but changed out cat back exhaust in similar sound check environment, it's very different.
