@TXshaggy do you have the measurement for the 3 nuts at the header end, I am pretty sure they are 8mm nuts but I am looking for the overall diameter of the integrated washer?

They 'may' be identical in dimension to the 5 nuts at the GPF end, trying to verify this...

Here are the Soul Parts Hardware for the GPF end:

INCLUDED COMPONENTS
o (1) Driver Side Over Axle Pipe
o (1) Passenger Side Over Axle Pipe o (10) M8 x 1.25 x 30mm Bolts (13mm) o (20) M8 Washers
o (10) M8 Locking Nuts (13mm)

You reuse the header hardware.

I had a specialty shop install mine; so unsure of the header hardware.

I could put a ruler on the hole diameter tomorrow if that’d help.

Suspect it’s similar to the GPF hardware.

They remind me of this. Could be a 2020 thing......

I’ve read speculation that Porsche makes them all (relatively speaking) the same so the engine mapping and back pressure is the same across the engines. Is anyone worried that just removing these messes with those two parameters? I don’t know enough about “engine mapping and back pressure” to really have an opinion, but I am wondering about taking out a middle component between to other designed pieces (header and muffler).

By the look of those pin stripes I would say more like 1920!

Thanks, that should cover it, I managed to get a socket on the header end nuts, they use a 13mm socket and have no integrated washer.

1) How many hours of labor did the shop charge you for this install?

2) Do you know if the installer removed the muffler unit to make the job easier?

Thank you for posting the pics and info!

It was a flat rate with no labor indicated. I didn’t ask and happy to support a small Porsche shop that been in business decades...tough times we live in. While I feel the $525 was perhaps high....that’d be a 3 hour ($175)charge at the dealer... I was fine with supporting them. Others have reported dealers charging 2 hours. My dealer wouldn’t put them on...

We discussed the install and loosening the back exhaust, but he said the studs backed right out per the Soul instructions.

Now that I’ve got mine on; would recommend it to anyone looking for more. Believe for all but the most hardcore GPF delete will achieve excellent results without further mods.

Without taking out the muffler or removing the studs on the GPF I don't see how you would swap out the over axel pipe, those studs are about 1 inch long, the area under there is pretty tight to pull back the rear section far enough.

Admire your effort to support your local shop (Maybe it was the yellow!). For comparison, if anyone interested, a larger local shop in SoCal quoted $400 for OAP and Cargraphic Valve Controller. I also believe a smaller shop would do them for even less (Not trying to squeeze the shops, but these were their stated pricing when asked). Also other posters I think have said the OAP job was done in under 2 hours.

$400 for the OAP and valve controller is a very good price, the controller alone is at least an hour on the Spyder, on the GT4 working inside so to speak that would be tight timing!

As for just the OAP and if you are expecting them to fabricate mounts for the vacuum lines I would say 3 hours, in two hours those lines would be still flapping in the breeze...

Does the car need to be reprogrammed to accept a GPF delete & eliminate the possibility of throwing a code?

No, it’s unmonitored. No tune required and no CEL.
