Default Wing risers on 718 GT4

OMG, my car is here at the dealer!!
Did a quick visual check and the wing mounts look the same as the 981 GT4. So the Salter Aero risers from the 981 are going on now, yay. Looking good.
However it wont be till next week till I collect the car.
Ohh, now Im facing to have to run another engine in again and with travel restrictions this will take forever. Ahhhh. So frustrating...

I should have mine arrive from BBi sports next month i think they are the best quality piece and height made to the GT4 imho. I saw most of risers on the previous version 981 GT4s. when you see them in real world you would notice the differences

Almost the same as my 981 but deleted the 18 way seat adjust as I never used it and it had no seat memory wich is pathetic considering.
I am suprised by how few GT4s' have been delivered so far.
Will be doing some mods too, because I really want a GT4 RS but no way for me will I order a PDK.
Will make a new car tread soon.

Not to hijack the thread, but since you mentioned it and I plan on starting a new thread unless there is one or pending information I find. I'll do some searching on the forum and I did some searching on the internet, but I'm hoping someone has come out with an aftermarket way to add memory to the 18 way seats. I added 18 way seats to my build, but I'm debating on going back to the 2 way seats.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it shouldn't be that hard to add it since the rest of the Cayman/Boxster line up have memory option. I wouldn't think adding it aftermarket would add it to the door like it normally is, but adding it to the center console or under the seat or beside the seat would be fine by me. There are blanks in the center console that could be changed to put the memory buttons there for easy access.

I know some people say this is supposed to be a lightweight car and don't do the 18 way seats, I get it, but my wife and I have very different seating positions as she is average height and I am taller than average so the memory function is nice. I will daily this car as well so I want the more comfortable seats and I plan on tracking some, but most of the miles will be on the street.

Question....I've seen several 981 GT4's that had the standard wing risers either powder coated or painted a light color such as white or silver. Was that an available option form the factory the first time? I kind of dig that look.

I am not sure about the original options for the risers on the GT4 as I am in the Spyder camp, but I would bet there was a fair amount of post delivery colour changes done to those risers.

Not to hijack, but we've had our RSNV risers already on a 718 GT4 for a while now if anyone is curious to see.

If only a company would offer them in a few colors. Those who have silver or gold wheels could use some contrast and it would add a nice touch to the car if painted to match the wheels

We're doing a one-off Aurum set right now as a trial. If anyone wants to claim it, let us know!
