Then maybe you are unsure about what you want....like Westcoast said....too different things. I could see how one would want both.

Really nice car. A lot of bang for the buck.

Totally get it. In this environment it’s tempting to look at used cars given demand is lower than usual given uncertainty. Paying MSRP for a new car gets you the car you want but it’s always fun to think about what else you could get for similar money. For me personally I’m going to sit on the sidelines till things calm down.

who said you have to pay MSRP for a new car .. Even before this crisis , I have said that car market is very soft and people should get discount , and I will say now , that with the current severe recession / depression facing us , significant discount should be expected
I don't like my own predictions, but unfortunately this is the reality at present time !!! the economic impact of current crisis will not blow over in couple of months , this will be a several months , probably longer , event and luxury/sport cars are not priority for a lot of people so they will be affected the most

Staying true to the Spyder. Porsche is finally giving me the car I've always wanted. Hopefully I can push out to late Spring next year for an European Delivery (at my my age I have a problem saying ED - ).
Unfortunately I'm fairly certain we haven't seen the bottom of Porsche prices yet.

@2XIPA have you approached the dealer to request a delay?

Am I the only one who wanted this car yesterday!? Last year in July when I traded my BGTS in on this order I would have been quite happy just to move the plates across and head out for a drive in the Spyder... waiting is not my strength!

Yeah, hindsight maybe I should have sold my Spyder last year. But no regrets. It has to be one of the best Porsche street cars ever. I’ve been on the waitlist almost two years. So a little longer won’t be so bad.
Cheers

I’d be all in for sure 😆. I’ve been only a passenger in the latest 3 and 2. I’ve intentionally stayed away from the track and focus on AX where I strongly prefer a convertible. I’m lucky enough to have a great friend that shares his non RS 1.1 3 with me for AX. I’m surprised how well it does in AX for such a bigger car. Ideally I’d like to pick a 3 up and keep my Spyder. But my wife says only one at a time.

that is badass ride. I had a similar thought before placing my order for a 718 Spyder. That RS at 125 provides compelling value. Still i like the open top ethos of the Spyder.
