Hello gents,

I recall seeing someone here in rennlist work on a quick cover solution for his 981 Spyder a few years back, and thinking this might be the best investment for someone who's receiving his 718 Spyder soon.

Any thoughts on this topic? is there a quick cover solution for 718 Spyder already out there? or maybe the 981 cover could also work for the 718 ?

I have a cover from my 981 Boxster that I am going to try on the Spyder... like this:

So this cover is only for when the car is stationary, not while the car is in motion.

This style of cover is held down over the windshield via the wiper blades in their resting position, at the rear of each door via a Velcro strap that loops through handle, at the front of the door with Velcro loops that go around the mirrors and at the rear with tabs that close under the trunk lid.

Now will all of these work with the Spyder, I am not sure but as soon as I get mine I will try it out and report back.
