Default My build that I need to finalize by tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

I posted in the dealer allocation thread and post your build thread. Got word of the allocation yesterday, and it locked but is a changeable.

As you can imagine I have been playing with the configurator for a while prior to getting word. I did not expect it so I'm a little caught off guard but have a strong idea of what I want.

I picked this build,

https://www.porsche.com/microsite/porsche-code/default.aspx?c=/PLBNCN72

But now I am also considering chalk. white is great too (gosh they're all great....)

The porsche lettering in black I will go for it r not. I think I am going to pass on Bose .

I am especially indecisive since I have never ordered a car before. Always been an on the lot situation.

I sat in a gt3RS once with buckets and they seemed nice. I am 5'11 165 with athletic build. I am going for buckets.

My build consists of
-bucketS
-led
-light design (why not)
-leafher interior
-anthracite trim,
-sport chrono,
-alcantara wheel and shifter, red stripe
- car play (I don't have an iPhone but have an Android, my wife has an iPhone)
- dual climate control

My daily driver is an sti, and a weekend car is an old m3.
Primary intention is a fun car I can drive and would like to get on the track. I did the 3 day skip barber a while back and I loved it. This will not be a daily driver.

I have waited for this day for a long long time.
You guys are seasoned RL'ers and I'm looking forward to hearing your expertise.

Anything you can chime in on is a great help!

Looks good and fun. Given you might want to track occasionally and it won’t be a daily, I don’t really have anything to add. I’d give a second thought to heated seats, smartphone compartment, bose upgrade, and gt4 logo delete.

Nice build! I went with Miami Blue as well. Chalk is also a great choice, I feel like that colour works better with the red accents, but it's all personal preference; you can't go wrong either way. Only consideration I would add is the leather interior trim vs. the brushed anthracite but again, all personal preference! Good luck and enjoy the process!

I'd recommend specc'ing out the fire extinguisher as well. It's just 140$ and adds a cool factor. Specially with the lwbs. It's something that finding the OEM fitment later would be hard to do. Getting matching blue seat-belts is another one you could consider.

I would do silver seat belts to match your door pulls.

Oh yeah.. makes more sense.. didn't realize the interior stitching would clash in that case.

I added bose. Thanks for the suggestions! Keep them coming

Edit - I am unfamiliar with the leather trim even though I see it on the configurator. Does it look more sporty?

Do you mean the Upper dash leather trim?

A poster above mentioned leather trim instead of the brushed anthracite trim. I'm not familiar with how the leather trim would look.

Ahh ok! I think leather trim looks nice on non-GT cars. your choice is pretty good with anthracite I'd say.

Also add the luggage net in passanger footwell. It's one of the only 2 free options. It adds a storage net in passenger footwell

I would get the auto dimming mirror + rain sensor. Since the car is low, you might get blasted some some headlights that clear the wing just so. You don't really need 2 zone climate control. The cabin is small enough that it won't make much of a difference. Only real feature is the automatic setting versus having to control fan speed yourself.

I think the interior painted trim is the coolest option that very few people spec. Plus it's free!

Also +1 for auto dimming mirror

+1 for the dimming mirror and rain sensor, I have it on mine and had it on the previous cars, nice for low cars.

As for the 2-zone, a must for me(us), if I am the only one in the car it is not needed, as soon as the wife gets in her side changes and I will add it is not to the settings I would choose!

Also yes to Bose, light design, LWBS, phone compartment, LED headlights...

How deep are you pockets, I can keep going!
