So what will this Spyder go for?

Honestly, that would be my max bid on that car. Add the auction fee and enclosed shipping and you're about $80k. Add in $10k of wheels to make that thing look more like a classic Porsche sports car and less like a woman's purse, and you're at $90k. Before TT&L. For a car that's out of warranty, with no radio and no AC. I honestly think that's all the money.

Normal used 981 Spyder in today's market w buckets is around $75k-$80k, adding PTS uniqueness and minusing for no buckets, maybe $88k - $90k someone would reasonably pay. $100+ is a pipedream for this car or just a ridiculously priced 981 Spyder regardless of miles.

Bentley Pittsburgh has been sitting on one for over a year , now they have it listed at 87k , a month ago it was 82 k , I think they will let it go for upper 70 to 80 k. I looked at the car in person , it is very clean, sticker was 93 k … I had one and missed it, I was going to offer them 75 k , but then changed my mind

That Spyder has buckets. Still i think the price is highly optimistic.
6k for a custom color you really love is one thing. Ridiculous premiums for some of these ugly *** garish colors because it’s PTS, i don’t get it, But hey it takes all types to make a world.
A Spyder in GT Silver over Bordeaux red is classic for a reason. If Porsche made GT Silver and Red an exclusive limited edition “heritage model” , I bet some of the same people enamored with PTS would be clamoring for it despite the fact its still boring” silver.

Even though the car has been effectively superseded by a true GT Spyder I think eventually historians will clamber for the very limited numbers of the 981 Spyder, and having a PTS with some CXX will further the case to be made.
