PPF / Clear Bra build option 718 GT4
Are people seeing the Porsche installed PPF as an option on the new GT4? I have heard about it for other cars but not GT4, and I can't find it in builder.

It's not out for the 718. It is available for the 992. I don't get why they wouldn't offer it. Seems simple. People will pay for it.

Hello! I might be able to help with this at some point. I work for XPEL Corporate. On the list for the GT4 and have been lurking here for a bit. Will be happier when my '17 M3 sells lol.

We’ve had a good discussion about this on 992 board and with our clients getting GT4s. There are definitely some pros and cons that come to mind.
as many of you know, installer is key. Though very convenient to have this applied at factory, port, or dealer, questions becomes who’s doing it and should you need to replace, is same installer available?
having a qualified and proficient local installer would pose a better option as proper paint correction, if needed can be done. You can have peace of mind knowing should any ppf ever need replacing, you have one point man to remove, prep, and re-install with same accuracy and end product
something to think about

Get this work done by a reputable installer with experience to match. Consider xpel, suntek, stek. I wouldn’t have it done by Porsche sight unseen.
