Advice please
I'm about to order a 718 GT4 and would like advice.
Lastly, I assume these are MSPR only, right?
Thanks --- my beautiful 2011 Boxster S suffered a totality recently at New Jersey Motorsports Park Lightning.
- difference between the regular headlights, the B-Xenon and the LED.
- difference between regular interior trim and Anthracite brushed (seems darker; anything else?)
Lastly, I assume these are MSPR only, right?

- Anthracite is just darker brushed aluminium.
- It's only a manual top - you can't do anything about that
- MSRP*, and it's only MSRP if your dealer says it is

Here's a video showing the differences between Xenon and LED, including a driving portion near the end. Note that only the LED come with PDLS Plus (auto high-beam) while only the Xenon and LED have the headlight swivel during steering wheel movement. I think headlight swivel is a really good feature. I also use auto high beams since I live on a country road but that's just me.

What about Navigation ($2320)?
I have an iPhone and love Google maps. Do I get anything worthwhile from the Navigation? Do I lose anything worthwhile by not having it?
If I use my iPhone Nav instead of the Porsche Nav, I'd have to subscribe to the Porsche connect; is that right?
As always, TIA,

As iliveoncaffiene mentioned, you need it for the track precision app. Without nav the sport chrono becomes a very expensive dashboard clock.

Guys,
Your answers are more in-the-weeds than I need.
My fundamental question is: I have an iPhone and love Google maps. Do I get anything worthwhile from the Navigation? Do I lose anything worthwhile by not having it?
ie, Is Navigation worth anything to me?

With Nav (all of which are stated in Porsche's configurator, which you can view yourself):
- Car navigation
- Track precision app
- Porsche Connect
Without
- Use phone for nav (with carplay)

Just to add, you can option Apple CarPlay and use that instead. I’m pretty sure the gauge cluster screen won’t work with CarPlay and it’s reserved for the Porsche Nav (and of course vehicle info).

Sport Response Button (pdk)
Launch control (pdk)
Rev matching in sport or sport + (MT)
G-force meter
Clock with lap timer
Sport screen on PCM for lap analysis (and draws laps on PCM screen as you go around)
Ability to download performance data to your laptop
Upshift indicator in MFD
Mode dial on steering wheel which also adds I-mode
Relaxed point at which PSM kicks in (i.e. allows more yaw)
Increases idle speed
Opens additional symposer tube for better sound in compartment.
Changes RPM limiter to sport from normal.
Rear axles steering, PASM, PDCC, PTM and PTV go to sport mode (Sport mode for PTM and PTV doesn't exist in a RWD carrera with a MT)

Am I missing something? With SC, you get a lot more than a clock. Some examples:
Sport Response Button (pdk) (No PDK)
Launch control (pdk) (No PDK)
Rev matching in sport or sport + (MT) (Standard without SC)
G-force meter
Clock with lap timer
Sport screen on PCM for lap analysis (and draws laps on PCM screen as you go around) (Only with Nav, as has been mentioned)
Ability to download performance data to your laptop (Porsche Connect)
Upshift indicator in MFD (Standard)
Mode dial on steering wheel which also adds I-mode (Not on GT4)
Relaxed point at which PSM kicks in (i.e. allows more yaw)
Increases idle speed (No modes, so not on GT4)
Opens additional symposer tube for better sound in compartment.(no symposers on GT4)
Changes RPM limiter to sport from normal. (no mode switches on GT4)
Rear axles steering (nope), PASM (standard), PDCC (nope), PTM and PTV go to sport mode (standard, no option for it) (Sport mode for PTM and PTV doesn't exist in a RWD carrera with a MT)
Sport Response Button (pdk) (No PDK)
Launch control (pdk) (No PDK)
Rev matching in sport or sport + (MT) (Standard without SC)

See edits above.
For "Sport Chrono" on the GT4, the only description of what's added is:
"Comprising an analogue stopwatch on the dashboard, a digital stopwatch function in the instrument cluster and performance display in Porsche Communication Management (PCM)."

For the track precision app there are also 3rd party solutions right? I'm not sure how much they cost but paying 2300+ for this option doesn't sound a good value. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe it does make sense for a GT car. I'm confused about this option myself.
