981 Sport susp vs 718 'sport PASM'?
Question for knowledgeable 718 & 981 owners. As you know the 718 cars have a new option called 'Sport PASM' that has the same 20mm lowered ride height as the passive X73 sport suspension in the 718 cars and I can only assume (in the 718 sport PASM) stiffer ride quality in sport+ mode.
Question is how is the stiffness, spring rates, damping of the Sport PASM at its max setting compared to the feel of the X73?

Good question. It's supposedly the same as regular 911s (on GT3s it's -30, just like on GT4s). I wish that was available for my GTS, since I lost $1,250 when 'downgrading' from standard PASM to X73. I'm glad I ordered X73 vs PASM, but S-PASM is suppose to be the best of both worlds... but let's wait until somebody with personal experience chimes in. For me X73 is dialed to perfection most of the time, but for my wife, it's not.

I drove one at Porsche Experience Center LA. It feels the same as the sport-PASM from the 981. It obviously has a higher dynamic range than the X73 or base passive suspension, meaning the passive suspensions are always 100% stiff. Caveat: that track is paved smooth as glass, so everything feels great on it. If you're bombing around LA I think you'd want regular PASM (not sport lowered).
If you're looking for X73 quality, skip PASM and get a JRZ RS1 Touring suspension OEM direct replacement.
