That's okay with me, because I bought my base Boxster to drive it and enjoy life, not to worry about depreciation. Besides it might just go to the kid when I'm done with it.

I see the 981 cars retaining their value as the last of the N/A six cylinder Boxsters and Caymans. For those who must have a six in their P-cars, the 981S is just a wonderful mix of performance and sound. Plus, I got one of the last six 981S Boxsters imported into the states. I think the younger generation of Porsche buyers won't give a damn as smaller turbocharged engines with more HP and torque are the future, and will be very attractive to them - regardless of sound. Plus, if you let Fabspeed put a system on your 718, it will sound great (I've heard it).

Very well said Phil, and it was great to have you stop by so I could check out your gorgeous 981! Never seen a cleaner one to date. Glad you enjoyed the sneak peak of the 718 project

Default Fabspeed for 718S

Liking the sound clip! Are you also working on the 718S as well? Is the package appreciably different for the S version?

Looking forward to seeing the full product rollout.

From the diagrams and pictures we have seen, the S has the exact same exhaust fitment as the Base so our products will be a direct fit. However, we haven't had one in yet for testing, although we expect even greater gains than we saw on the base with the same products. If you know anyone that would be willing to have their S brought by for some final R&D, send them my way and I'll be sure to take care of them on pricing with whatever system they end up liking
