Default Spyder RS price check

2025 Spyder RS
1 owner
2,500mi
CPO
Weissach
Buckets
FAL
PDLS
Bose
Chrono
Deviated stitching
total MSRP $195k

has full front PPF

What is a good price to buy this for before tax and tags?

I think 5k under sticker is the max i would pay for that.

Color is also important. Rarer brighter colors always age better as far as resale goes the more time goes by.

Dealer pricing all over the place. Offer what you’re comfortable with.

Modest well put together builds hover around MSRP at dealers. Huge bloated builds have been seeing discounts.

I have been watching this market, and there are still a ton of RS spyders on the market. Hundreds actually. I think they are a ton of car for 200k ish, but I also think they will go down in value still. My gut is we will see them go down to 175 to 150 (for non weissach). This may not happen but it is a very niche porsche collector that wants an RS Spyder, and it will most certainly be someone who has multiple p cars. I am seeing GT4RS weissach cars go for 175 already. I am seeing 992.1 GT3's go for 225 (and the new 992.2 gt3's are still hitting the shores (I just locked in my build yesterday), so the .1's will go down even more, and if it is 200k gt3 to 200k RS spyder a lot of guys are going to go gt3, and leave the spyder. I would rather a spyder than a gt3, but I have little kids and wanted the back seat of the new touring. All that to say is that if you want one now I would say 180-195. I wouldn't pay anything over 195, unless it was some one of one color or you only collect a single color. A purple car would have more value to many than any other color, but I have seen about 12 purple spyder RS for sale over the last few months. I think they just made too many of them, but I also think that if they introduce a hybrid drive spyder that they will go up in value. I have absolutely hated the hybrid drive gts and turbo s I have driven. Had a few friends who traded their new GTS back in within a week of having them to go back to .1 turbo s and gt3's

Thanks all, my offer was in-line with your advice (185k+taxes and fees) but they came down to only 200k - which is still 5k over msrp

Forgot to mention, it's only 12 months old, so with the CPO it still has a full 5 years of warranty..and the PPF presents a 3-5k value as well depending what brand it is

Congrats! Building relationship with a dealer for future allocations also has a value too! Now go hoon on it, and report back at some point on how ownership of it is!

I just got back from driving my SRS all morning. Just buy the damn car and start having fun. You’re going to love it. You’re also going to make more money tomorrow. You’re not going to make more time and they aren’t making more SRS. If you like this particular car, stop nickel and dimeing and go buy it tomorrow and drive it home and smile and be happy. Just my $.02.

Show them the 185k asking 2024 model epic spec that’s 3.5k under sticker with 1200miles on Porsche finder. Ask your dealer why you should buy theirs

i personally waited for the perfect spec to pop up a year ago at a great price and I bought it and just said send it across the country and I’ll pay your ask.

i am a huge fan of just hawking the market and waiting for someone that lists an epic spec for a great price. They always go fast but I think it’s as good a strategy as any.

MSRP would be reasonable price
Dealer would probably take that as it sits longer on lot

CPO warranty is worth 4300, just another piece of information
some dealers agree to remove that and give you a lower price
some won't because they get credit for CPO cars

If the MSRP is $195,000, I don’t think $10,000 under MSRP was realistic. Also PPF already on the car will save you some money but I’m not so sure it adds a lot of value. If you could get the car for MSRP (minus 0-$2000) + TTL, that would be where I’d be (assuming the paint color and interior is what you want). A year from now I would guess trade in value might be $185,000 but who knows. My sense is $185.000 is going to be a tough find bc most of the SRS stickered close to or over $200,000 and 90% of them will be WSP. My 2025 Non-WSP SRS was in the first wave of Porsches that got hit with the July price increase and stickered at $189,435 and it has this:

Guards Red
Black Top
Leather/Race-Tex Interior
Extended Deviated Stitching
PDLS
18 ways
heated seats
FAL
Smoking Pkg
Light Design Pkg
Leather Steering Wheel and Gear Shift ****
Steering Column Leather
Auto Dimming Mirrors
Chrono
White Guages
Bose
Guards Red Seatbelts
Leather Sun Visors

Then buy something else or wait, but being on the market 6+ months has a lot to do with flippers trying to sell SRS at prices that are close to the car’s out the door price including what the owner paid for TTL, PPF, etc…In other words money out/little to no depreciation.

When I ordered mine in February 2025, then and up until the day when I took delivery in July, there were even more on the market at prices that by and large were over sticker and not what I wanted, to account for some ADM, TTL and what the seller paid plus PPF. Last year it wasn’t hard for me to get an allocation at MSRP and there was a white WSP SRS that was in-bound I could have had at MSRP too.
