This happened to me previously, but I didn't make the connection until now.
If the car is unlocked in the garage, then the battery doesn't have a drain problem. However if I hit the keyfob lock twice (have mirrors set to retract) then the car has a battery drain issue. I believe where I have my keys hanging on the wall about 15 feet away is too close when it is locked and the car stays "active". Is there a way to prevent that without moving the keys further from the car? I remember there was a deep sleep procedure while locking the car.
Note, battery should be good as it's a brand new Antigravity. I had to use the emergency mode to get back into the car easily.

Hey Authentic,
Thanks for using our product! As a heads up please note that if you did have to use the RE-START feature on the AG battery make sure you FULLY RECHARGE the battery again, because if you got to the point the battery was so discharged that you needed that feature then the battery is in a very low state of charge already, and if you have not had a chance to drive your car for about and hour or more you won't get a good charge back into the battery again, so you will need to put it on a charger to get a full charge back into it. If you know this already then that's great, just wanted to make sure you were aware, or you might still be in an over-discharged state....

Already on it. I have one of your 10amp chargers and it was immediate attached and put into BMS recovery mode, which seemed to do the trick. I was planning on driving it today, but at 3 hours of charging it still wasn't fully changed. On a side note, it would be nice if there was a red marking indicating where the positive terminal is located. I had to use a flashlight to find the "+" in the dimly lit garage. I assume it would be similar if one needed a jump at night in a parking lot.

Hi, you can absolutely drive if the batttery is not fully charged again Autthentic, if the Car starts fine you can drive no problem, and the Lithium battery will actually accept a charge faster than Lead so all will be good. So even if you do a short drive you can just put in on the charger tonight when you get back to ensure a full charge, but I don't want you thinking you can't drive, if the Car starts you are FINE to drive..... I'm only saying at you most convienent time after using the RE-START put it on a charger for a full charge..... So go on your drive!
I don't know what level of communication goes on between the key fob and a 718. I do know that when I stored my '16 981 Spyder from early December to early April two years in a row, without locking the car, and without any battery charging source, it started immediately each spring. And this was in cold NH winters- unheated.
I also keep my car keys in a steel coffee container with a steel top. I do not know if this is still necessary, but I watched somebody get into my 1996 993 using an amplification device that was able to unlock the 993, while the key fob was inside with me and less than about 50 feet from the car. While I prevented anything further, that device completely trashed the drive block system.
I suppose the new EU cybersecurity regulations likely prevent what happened to me with the 993. The entire 718 series of Porsches do not comply, nor do they have those defenses. I'd rather be safe, so I just secure the keys- not in my pants pocket!

Reason: grammar
you need to keep the keys away from the car while lock for it to go into deep sleep. it takes around 3 days.
then you will find out that the keyless entry has been disabled by the car (you will need to yank the door handle to wake the car up)
I leave my cars unlocked and the frunk not fully latched, and then on the tender. Does that mean it's never in deep sleep? I mean, for me that's fine since it's on a tender, but I'm just curious.

Not sure but noticed when on the tender and locked the door handles do not deploy when approaching you need to unlock via fob.
I’ve had one occurrence of the battery draining - I caught it before it was totally flat but it cranked over and wasn’t happy until it had charged itself up on the drive.
I don’t know what had happened BUT what was different was that power wasn’t shutting down as normal. I’ve got a wireless CarPlay adapter which uses WiFi to establish a connection - it’s pretty aggressive but usually shuts off a few minutes after I’ve locked the car.
On this occasion it kept connecting several hours after I’d locked the car. I didn’t think much of it until a few days later when I went to use it and found the battery super low.
