(Comparison of models) Cayman vs. 911 - which is a better daily driver for my wife?

Having a hatch in the Cayman is infinitely more useful for loading/unloading than the rear shelf/seats on a 911, even though it is bigger.
Cayman/Boxster just pop whichever t(fr)unk is closest. 911 you just have the frunk...unless you want to grab, bend down, fold seat, contort around seat, shove in the back, repeat.

also dont forget the side pocket storage behind the seats. those pockets can hold a lot of stuff.

Luckily with porsche, there is rarely any options that you can not get on all the models, even a base 2.0 macan can be specced to double its original msrp, here is my boxster GTS 4.0, more leather than most 911's I see around me, but again all depends how you spec it. They are great cars.

Hey, 911s can be as stripped as Caymans. And most still don't have full leather. Heck, not even GTSs come with full leather anymore (my 2016 981 did); only leather package. And same thing with 911s. I absolutely hate the 'feminine pad' as door handle without at least the leather package. I think most 911 trims don't have that anymore, but it's outrageous to have that crap on an $80K+ Cayman/Boxster.

“The rear seat in a 911 is over rated and yes it can store more but most people I've known including myself, is it's rarely used except for trips, as opposed to daily driving.”
Here are things the rear seat can do:
1. My dog can ride back there
2. Small kids can ride back there.
3. Items I frequently used such as my hat coat etc. I don’t want to use the trunk for these things.
4. You can store longer items back there that won’t fit in the frunk/trunk
5 Seats fold down to create a shelf
Also it’s provides a more airy atmosphere so you don’t feel cramped. Allows the seats to go back further if you’re tall. Some taller guys can’t fit in a Boxster.

Cayman is more of a drivers car, you really need to appreciate the noise and driving dynamics to see the benefit of it - it's just a bigger compromise. If she isn't into sports cars, and just wants something sporty and cool to commute in then 911 is a much-much better and more livable car. Going from my Cayman GTS 4.0 into a 992 GTS felt like going into a luxury car - quieter, more refined, softer, easier to drive, etc, but to be fair, it was also twice the price. I'm sure there are some women who would prefer a Cayman, but I'd comfortably bet that over 99% of them would choose a 911 in a heartbeat (price not being an issue).
I'd also consider a R8 V10 plus/performance. Ridiculous value for money IMO, and a very good daily.

But an R8 is at 911 price levels, so a different category than a Cayman. But yes, if I was willing to spend at that level (which I'm not), I'd get an R8 over a 911 all day long. A 911 is overpriced for what it is, so will never one one, but that's just me. With turbos, they don't even sound nice anymore. The only attractive 911 model is the S/T 6MT, but it's priced for billionaires now, so out of reach of people who would actually drive it.
