By the way, just saw an SE, and the stickers are perfectly spaced, and the curves of the bottom rear of the stickers conform perfectly to the curvature of the door, so as expected, it cannot get any better than factory stickers, and factory installed. And quality of OEM stickers is obviously excellent. I was talking about aftermarket ones possibly not being of the same quality vinyl, but it's hard to know. On a Porsche, I personally wouldn't skimp on that, but to each his own. The good news about stickers is they're easy to remove, although that'd be wasted money. If car doesn't sleep outside, even after years, there should be no trace of them if removed.

I was curious to see if anyone had the OEM part number so I could see what Porsche charges for them.

which brand of aftermarket door decals did you do a side by side comparison with oem? if none then it's merely speculation, right?

Of course it's speculation. I clearly stated it's hard to know. I don't like to take chances to save money, but to each his own.

Like not fit right, which would be my #1 concern. My car will live in a garage, so not worried about material quality that much. If you want to be a cheapo, all the power to you. End of argument, so let's move on.

i think those fears have been eliminated with the posts in this thread, yours included on my non-oem sticker (which porsche outsources):

safety equipment, performance equipment and even comfort equipment has no expense spared. a sticker? ya, i'm happy to not pay someone hundreds of dollars for a $60 product. i'd rather be called a "cheapo" than throw away money frivolously 6 days a week and twice on sunday, but to each their own. thomas tusser said it best.

I’m actually on vacation right now so when I get home I’ll PM you guys on the decals etc. I ended up getting a PTS Gelbgrun GT4 which is a very bright green almost fluorescent, so red decals definitely would not look good on that 😂. Also, FYI, these decals are not standard 3M vinyl. They’re some material that is much thicker and is not flexible at all. I had black decals I installed on another cayman and the decal place had to call some super special decal guy who installs decals on boats and planes and real race cars so probably not super easy to do yourself if you want the best results and to not mess up the decal itself.

I went to a car get together today. There were a lot of Porsche there. Looking in person I think this decal really shows the lines of the car well.

Once my car is shipped I think I should order this decal as well as the clear side markers.

Suncoast will have the part number, however their decal selection is limited. I would expect the same from dealerships. I'd recommend designstuffonline.com for decals. UK based company that makes Porsche decals.

Thanks, I probably will use that company but was just going to use the part number for research just in case some place had a good buy on the OEM. I have found BMW Atlanta often has had better buys than aftermarket for my BMWs.

Red Decals. Available, I won’t be using them.
