Default Help Me Choose

Looking to get into a 718 s. After doing some research I’ve found two subjectively good options. Which would you choose?

2020 Cayman s 1 owner w/ 32k miles. No accidents. PASM. SC. Sport Exhaust for $59k Carfax

orrrr a 2019 cayman s. 3 owner w/ 12k miles. One minor accident sport button and sport exhaust. For $61k Carfax

the three owner low mileage one sounds like it could have been a fleet vehicle or something similar of some kind. What kind of accident was it? If it was a minor scuff i'd go with the lower mileage one personally depending on understanding the reason behind the 3 owners. If it was a fleet vehicle then no problem. but if it was 3 private owners i'd be curious as to why 3 separate people couldnt put more than 12k miles on the car in the last 6 years.

The one with collision damage can't be a fleet car when you look at the CarFax. From CarFax, it was rear ended, which let's face it, can happen to all of us. Nonetheless not sure I want that car which is being sold by a Ford dealer.

Not so sure the other one is a one owner car--sold by a financial with 3800 miles??? Probably a two owner. But that's no biggie--I'd prefer that one to the three owner one, but OP which one looks the best or haven't you seen them in person?

On 4 or 5 year old cars, I'd have to see, touch, and drive to pick either or none of the above.

Im actually flying to Florida to see the 2020. The one sold by ford has been pretty nice. They even paid for the inspection by Porsche. Waiting on the results.

Did you check used and certified ones on the Porsche site? I would personally pass on both, but up to you. By the way, all 718s 2018 and later have standard PSE. Found just one certified in the low 60s with 1 owner: https://finder.porsche.com/us/en-US/...rder=price_asc . But you can choose any filters you want. I'd definitely buy a certified, to have 2 years of piece of mind, especially with higher mileage, like this one. Good luck.
