Memory seats - exit setting
Hi,
I have the memory seat package on my Boxster. When I exit the car, the seat and steering wheel both move back somewhat, but I’d like them to move farther so that there’s more room to get in and out - any suggestions?

Easy fix with several options - there are threads on the topic that you should search and read but here is what I did in the Targa GTS I had in the past:
I set Memory 1 to how I want the settings for driving and Memory 2 with the seat all the way back and up and steering wheel up and in so. Before I got in I would push 2 and then 1 before I started the car. When I stopped somewhere I would simply push 2 to make it easier to get out.

Yeah, a few ways to do this but I agree that the factory setting does not move the seat far enough back. That was one of the reasons that I opted for the standard seats on my Spyder since it is so much easier to manually move the seat back and forth not to mention they are a little softer and lower.

There are setting in PIWIS to change the “Easy Entry” default settings. I have coded this in all my previous BMW’s.
