Arctic Grey - other VW group equivalents?
Please spare me the “another grey car” off topic diversions - I’m wondering what equivalent colors are out there in the VW group. Rennbow has no listing for Arctic Grey (Arctic Silver - plenty of examples). Google and Bing searches get no results. Is this truly a new color? I can order a new 718S with no ADM but a 9-month delivery window. It would be extremely helpful if I could at least see something very very close. Is the 911 50th Slate Grey close or a bit too light?
Heres the build I’m considering (I don’t track so decided I didn’t need a GTS or all the go fast stuff; this is close to a duplicate of our first 2013 Boxster S which we loved.).

Anyway - maybe the combined insights of this group can knowledgeably point me toward an existing color that I can try to find in the here and now. TIA, gordon

The presence of blue is what makes Arctic Grey interesting, especially once you consider that every other VW group car is a spin-off of Nardo, Chalk etc.
I think Arctic Grey more closely resembles Graphite Blue, with the Grey taking over Blue in terms of proportion.
Short answer - There probably isn't an equivalent (def not Merlin Purple, and I don't know why the other poster is trolling you) but if you can picture 'Graphite Blue but more grey' then maybe you have something to work with. Good luck!

IMHO, having seriously considered buying Graphite Blue, and seeing a few in person, its more blue than gray, as far as paint pigment. Where, not having seen it, Artic Gray may have some blueish "flake", or will pick up any surrounding blueish light with its metallic/flake.

I'm stuck on deciding Arctic Grey too (vs Chalk). It' looks less "blue" than graphic blue and has no metallic flakes in it. More of a grey? The Porsche config. seems to show it pretty dark too?
I just realized it's been introduced in the whole 718 line-up for 2023 which makes me think most P-cars for 2023 will have this new color. Hopefully we will see them in the wild by the end of the year.

Here’s my slate Grey Y97 (the lighter of the two non metallic Slate greys).
Graphite is far more blue than Slate, and is also metallic. I haven’t seen Arctic grey in person but suspect it’s closer to Nardo (although saw nardo in person today and there was a tiny hint of green coming across to my eye).
Two slate Grey compared in Different light
Rain/fog
Inside detailer shop. Fluorescent light.
Afternoon sun (next to Dolomite Silver)
Late day sun
Dusk under parking lot lights

Thanks all! Now I’m looking at a local graphite blue metallic 718S. Waiting 9 months and having on,y one car for 9 months isn’t appealing. We don’t do HPDE or AX so an S should be a good fit and the price is right vs our 911 trade. Looks like GBM had only one year in production according to Rennbow (2018).
