Default MY2023 Prices

Porsche is updating their configurator and seems to have loaded the MY23 prices in. Looks like a $2,900 increases for the base, T, S, and GTS 4.0 models, $5,300 for the GT4, $5,100 for the Spyder, and $7,400 for the GT4 RS (which is moot because I don't think there is going to be any MY22 GT4 RS customer cars).

Model - MY23 Prices - MY22 Prices
Cayman - $63,400 - $60,500
Boxster - $65,500 - $62,600
Cayman T - $72,500 - $69,600
Boxster T - $74,600 - $71,700
Cayman S - $75,400 - $72,500
Boxster S - $77,500 - $74,600
Cayman GTS 4.0 - $90,300 - $87,400
Boxster GTS 4.0 - $92,400 - $89,500
Cayman GT4 - $106,500 - $101,200
Boxster Spyder - $103,400 - $98,300
Cayman GT4 RS - $149,100 - $141,700

Any idea on allocation quantities for each at a reasonably sized dealerships? I just scooped a 2020 Spyder for a little over MSRP (2k miles) and feel ok about it since it's the greatest car I've ever driven. I called two dealers and they said I was dreaming when I asked about Spyder or Gt4 allocations.

What’s the rationale behind the increase? Is it inflation. I’m guessing it’s either that or the fact that they’ll be going fully electric by 2025 so these will be the last lot to have gas engines so they’re taking advantage of the fact that these cars are definitely collectibles.

Inflation. Prices for most everything are up, including labor, so they are simply passing it along.

Inflation and Capitalism, If demand exceeds supply any smart business man will raise prices to reap the rewards of offering a product which people want. Porsche is the most profitable mass market auto maker. They keep raising prices and people keep buying their cars. My have things changed since they were in financial trouble

Percent wise seems like GTS 4.0 increased the least.

Some have gone up while others have gone down. The pic attached is of an old build code I had saved. Premium package on 718 went up while exterior painted package and 14 way seats went down.

I can see why the 14-way seats decreased...no one wants them!
