Default Does PDK "learn" based on driving habits?

Does the PDK adjust to the habits of the driver? For instance, would one used for spirited or fast driving behave differently after a period of time as compared to one that was used to commute to work in traffic each day? Also is there any way to "reset" to the factory default if indeed this is the case?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes, in Sport mode I believe.
Yes you can reset. I assume this apples to the 718 as well as other PDK Porkers….

My PDK is so smart….I taught it Japanese, German and Hebrew (Do you know how Moses takes his coffee ? A: He brews it.)

Unfortunately PDK is still having trouble with walking on a leash, and has a couple of accidents every week on the carpet ! Stupid PDK thinks carpet is grass.

Yes, it will adapt to the driving style.
A couple track days should help.

there is one turn at mid-ohio where i always get a hard shift the first time through. after that it "learns" and the hard shift goes away for the rest of the session.

You should consider participating in open microphone night at the comedy club.

Been there done that. Racers are like cute little puppy dogs compared to the blood thirsty amateur comedians fighting for stage time.
I think being a Navy Seal might be easier than being a professional comedian. A least being a SEAL you get to shoot things and blow stuff up.

Pretty sure it adapts to to driving style episodically and not chronically. For example, on a track weekend, the car behaves 'normally' while driving to dinner despite 5 - 6 sessions wringing it out on the track where it's a beast. It wouldn't make sense to 'chronically' learn as people drive in different conditions day to day and sometimes minute to minute. I'm sure someone with some deeper technical knowledge could articulate this better.

Yes, that makes sense. However, if it was truly episodic there would be no need for an arcane reset procedure.

Yes, "adapt" is a better description than "learn".

I like it. Adapt is much more accurate.
