It appears the processes to just reach in, cut out the old cover, and install new cover...sounds barbaric.

Pretty sure they remove the outside plastic intake you can see and then remove and replace the inner grill. I’m pretty confident because my driver’s side outer plastic is now loose and can’t be secured properly. My dealer has ordered a new one and will be installed next week under warranty.

So there is only one intake per side on the 2.5L GTS cars? I assume then they’ll be changing it to the waffle style grill as on the lower intake of the 4L cars.

I drove the car today, then of course washed it, LOL. and installed the front grills. I need to get some back to black before I do the side vent grills.

The center section is a PITA to put in and it's hard to keep the thing flat, mine is wavy, but I can fine tune it a bit.....

Before and after are out of order LOL.

Snap in REAR first to catch the snaps before pushing the front in.

I have PPF on rockers and side intakes, has anyone who has PPF there had the recall done. Any damage to PPF?
