Looking to add race seats for HPDE. Considering seats from OMP and Spraco without Halo, but wondering what folks are using to ensure they fit in the car. What have you used that worked? Thanks!

I think the Recaro SPG and pole position are also worth looking at and I've seen the Recaro Sportster GT seat also installed. I have OEM GT2 style carbon buckets which fit very nice and look OEM but very costly.

Strange question, but are there any race seats that have heating elements?

No fitment issues with the XLs, was the biggest seat I could find. Only 'issue' would be that with my BBi Harness Bar it limits how far back the seat can go by about an inch.

I just installed a Recaro Podium mounted to a BBi seat mount. Allows me to run a 5-6 point harness and it is very comfortable. Recently took a 5.5 hour drive one way and it was great. Looks great too.

I had Recaro SPG XL's in a prior dedicated race car which still street legal. They were fantastically comfortable for big guys.

I buy sparcos but they aren't really built to last for material. They're fine for a race car that sits in a trailer but I swear the material is made of vampires because it disintegrates if left in the sun and if you get in and out a lot they die pretty quick from that too. Recaros are the better seats if you plan to leave them in for street driving as well as track.

Ended up going with the OMP HTE-R 400. Fits great. Testing it out this weekend at Sebring.
