Track tire options
21 GTS 4.0
Stock sizes 235/35r20 and 265/35r20 26.5 and 27.3" tall respectively
I picked up a set of the Apex SM10 in the 18x9 and 10" sizes for playing on the track as not to chew up a $2+k set of tires every few months.
For those running Apex wheels or similar what are you running for tires?
The sizes I have seen in the other threads are still fairly narrow and quite a bit shorter than factory heights in the 25" range. On top of that the tire and sizes I was wanting to try all seem to be on backorder.
Has anyone tried the Nitto NT05 in 275/35r18 and 295/35r18 they are offered in both 200 and 140 TW versions, still a little shorter than factory, fit the tires wheel range and appear they should clear.
Looking for input, is there a reason everyone goes to sizes that are like 1.5" shorter overall?
Car is currently stock but plan to have it aligned and max out camber on stock adjustments as I hear it gets somewhere between 1.5-2* for now, may get camber plates in the future.
