Has anyone attempted or retrofitted an Auto dimming rear view mirror to a 718 that came without from the factory? Is it as simple as other marques where you just feed the 12v to the unit?
Argh, auto dimming mirror is not even an option in Canada for GTS 4.0 ..... bummer..... I would be interested in retrofitting one in my incoming GTS too but I looked into this when I had my 997 and that was not as easy as it looks.

Really? It's an option on the Spyder in Canada. Any chance it comes standard on the GTS? It's definitely a great feature, especially on a low car like a 718.

If it does come standard in the GTS 4.0 then it's not listed under the standard feature list.
The correct wiring harness is not there. I don’t have it and noticed the differences when power up a radar detector as compared to other picture installs.

Thanks but it doesn't make sense to have it on the Boxster but not the Cayman GTS 4.0 hopefully it is a misprint because there are only 2 items under electrical systems

looks like a misprint on the Cayman GTS specs to me .
