Softronic?
The reason why I ask about softronic is that the tuner, Scott, has been tuning Porsches for almost 30 years and have been involved with specifically tuning track cars.
I realize that the stock intercooler and overall cooling system is the biggest factor, and tuning compounds the issue due to increased boost/timing and overall higher combustion energy/heat, but curious to see if each tuners (APR, COBB, FVD, etc.) unique calibration is also a factor.
And some with catless exhaust are having less issues.
so really trying to see if anyone with softronic and stock exhaust are overheating at the track.

Well I asked point blank to APR about overheating issues with their tune and this is what they replied and I quote...
"We spent an extensive amount of time tuning the engine to stay cool on the track. That's included multiple track days, including some in which we were putting a hurt on a few GT3 owners around Road Atlanta. There's no point in more power if you can't use it in the car's native environment! Simply put, the tune will stay strong on the track. Should there be a situation where it gets too hot, say, if your cooler was loaded up with marbles from heavy track use, the tune would gradually pull back torque to keep IAT in check and keep you running strong and without risk of damaging the engine."
You can look up I'm pretty sure on APR's own posting on the 718 forum their video explaining how they actually tested their tunes for this car.... very impressive.
