Default 718 mpg...can it do 25 as stated?

Well, yup. Now I live in a perfect place for mpg....a small town outside of Phoenix and about 40ish miles to Surprise. State hwy and the cruise control set at 73 in normal mode. There are two spots where I have a safe 100+ mph goose it so I do drive it...otherwise my mileage would be better... ...just no stop/go...

City traffic is where it gets you! BTW: my 981 gives me 33 average on freeway!

On another site lots of owners responded and get much better than this it seems...I have a manual and the PDK has another longer legged cog so should bump it up a bit.

Nice.... all most all of my cruise control settings are over 70 in Az.... usually 73 with bursts to 100 + where I know I can...a few spots...probably why I get the crappy mileage

80 MPH Interstate limit here in Montana. I seem to average 30-32 mpg , at a constant 80-85 mph.

Very nice...that 27 mpg is a 4000+ mile average...not a single trip.....

Or maybe you're doing something wrong.

I'm getting between 24-32 mpg depending on what I'm doing.

I get ~24 mpg when romping around back roads, and ~31 mpg when curising down the highway in my 18 CS. 27 mpg over 4000 miles seems doable.

Our base 718 Boxster gets over 33 mpg cruising down the highway at 75 without any problem. The 718 Cayman GTS gets around 28 mpg at 75 on the highway. Our C7 Corvette gets 32 mpg at 75 just for comparison, Turbo 4 vs V8, with four cylinder deactivation.

Did 240 miles yesterday on 2 lane highway with much of it at 65 to 70 mph. Very few stops, though several slow downs for small towns.
I ended up with 29 mpg. LOWER than I Get on the Interstate at 80-85. Figure that!
