Just to be clear, I’m a PCA member and have not seen the 911 owners treating the other models with anything like scorn. They have been welcoming and curious. I’ve done a number of events with the 911 originally and now the 718, never an issue. The worst comments online are generally from the 981 owners, some 987 owners and lots of non owner fanboys. Take it for what it’s worth, enjoy your car, the 718 is awesome. The 4.0 will be equally awesome and keep the 6 cylinder purists happy.

Micahel 818, your last two sentences sum it all up. They are all great cars, millions upon millions of people would love to own one if they could. If you are lucky enough to have ANY Porsche, ignore the noise and enjoy the heck out of your car.
