What are the implications, if any, of it being a "launch vehicle"?

Love the Miami Blue and full leather. This is the exact car I'd be getting if I was looking for a 718. Enjoy!

Launch vehicle is designed to gain interest as it sits at the dealer as it is not for sale for a period of time. They are typically spec quite fully.

Interesting, how does one know it's a launch vehicle? Is there a designation on the car, window sticker or just plain bragging rights by word of mouth?

OP - Beautiful Car BTW.... I may be a little bias though!

Your base 2017 MSRP rivals my 2019 GTS including frivolous options like deviated stitching and black aluminum trim! You bought well!

Yeah, thanks. We feel lucky to come across that car. paid mid 50s, 17 k miles, CPO. Crazy option list, no one in their right mind would spec a BASE like that. it spent its life at beverly hills porsche.

Ironically enough, that looks to be my local dealership, Rusnak in Thousand Oaks.

When I was recently looking for a Miami Blue Cayman, they did not have any in stock so i purchased from another dealer, Woodland Hills.
