Goodbye C7... Hello Miami Blue 718 S

Nice car and color (thinking about miami blue for GT4 build)! Thanks for your thoughts on the C8... I have my name at dealer for the Z06 version of it in 2-3 years. It depends on the real life impressions and specs of the performance version.
my 0.02$ and no offense intended... but not a fan of the hash marks, especially with the RT lettering (dodge trademark). Reminds me of the AMG and M wannabes that do home badge engineering. Maybe a side stripe or OTT stripe if you want to set it appart? Or just cut out the RT if you like the look?

Anyway... Yes its Photoshopped strips! But I did add NORMAL clear markers (no strobe effect either ) In true form, the joke in my head does not translate on paper to the reader!
Here is the real picture!

Thanks.... and no offense taken as it was a poorly done photoshop as a joke. Well maybe not that poorly done apparently? It was originally done as a jab/joke to a specific member on CorvetteForum. If you were to quote the post you'll see additional text that said it was not real. Sorry if it gave anyone a heart attack... You all are much more polite than the people over there, disrespect a Vette and it's instant flaming.

well then, the real question is have you ditched the white Nike's and ankle-high socks yet?

Called it GM’s new algorithm for perspective corvette buyers, or something like that.

@ the strobing side markers and RT stripes. Well played. Welcome to the group, and congrats on a great purchase. I love the Miami Blue. It's the only color I'd choose over white. Alas, the white car I found CPO was too good to pass up.

I attended the 911 Launch Party here in town and I've got to say, the Porsche Crowd is MUCH friendlier than the Corvette people. No basing of anyone's cars or other people and in general they were all just Automotive Enthusiast! I'm nobodies fan boy and prefer to associate with like minded individuals.
Was a great night of like minded people with incredible food and an open bar!

glad some people got the joke!
I’m on my first PCA road trip at the moment. What a difference from the corvette crowd!

End of our trip at the Grand Rapids, OH - Apple Butter festival
The hotel we stayed in had a private one car garage for each unit. Forgot to get pics of that though.
