Default Giveaway to owner of a Carmine Red 718 Boxster GTS

I received this numbered Porsche 1:43 scale model of a Carmine Red 718 Boxster GTS (Porsche part # WAP0202070J) for attending a Porsche event at the Petersen Automotive Museum. See:

https://rennlist.com/forums/987-981-...-porsches.html

Would love to see it go to an owner of this car in this color. If you have one, post up a pic and PM me a forwarding address and I'll get this off to you.

Not me, but awfully kind of you to offer this out to a member who has the real thing. It's always nice to see these types of gestures on rennlist

Putting my car up for sale now so definitely It'd be nice to have a nice piece of souvenir. Or I may just keep it another1-2 years before I can get a new spyder build. Either way thanks OP for you kind gesture!

Good luck whatever you decide.

PM me a shipping address and maybe just let me know that you received it. Enjoy!

It’s interesting how most in this thread are opting for the non GTS interior. I typically will look at each model and what makes the iconic different than the other models. Items you can only get for that specific model and build off that. It’s what makes the car unique from the other models. A big part of what makes the GTS package different is the Carbon Fiber with Race Tex and contrast stitching. It’s the signature Porsche GTS look. At the same time I realize that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. That’s the beauty of Porsche... you really can make it your own (well almost... haha).

Porsche has so many options that they say it's unusual for them to make two 718s the same in any one year! We all have one-offs.

aka mouse fur..I hate it and almost did not order my Spyder due to it but at least I could get the steering wheel and shift boot in leather. And when I ordered my Targa GTS I got full leather, with not a single strand of mouse fur.

I've ordered a Carmine Red BGTS 4.0 with the GTS interior. Still waiting for a commission number on a July spot. I drove a CPO with the Alcantara and it didn't bother me, but I don't think I would want it on the steering wheel.

To each his own though.

That is cool both that you got one and that you are giving it to a Carmine Red Boxster owner. Karma pays both directions.

Wife got me this for my birthday:

Getting this in a few weeks (not in the bad connecting rod VIN range):

Going to have a buddy of mine who does incredible scale model airplanes get rid of the model’s inaccuracies.
