Default Recommendations for Winter Tires

Hi,

I know we're heading into Summer, but I'm starting to look for a wheel and tire package for my 718 for Winter and was looking to see if anyone had recommendations for Winter tires. I currently have the Pilot Sport 4S, and they were terrible this past Winter.

Thanks in advance, appreciate any and all feedback!

Where are you located? Need to understand climate before making the best recommendation.

Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington DC.

Not sure what the weather is over there, but if you get snow nothing beats Nokian Hakkapelitas. They're well priced and blow every other tire out of the water

I live in Northern Va and just bought Michelin Alpins for winter use. I also liked the Pirelli Sottozero in the past but I don't believe the make an N spec in 718 size. Michelin does. With the weather here you need the winter tire more for temperature than deep snow.
