Considering my first Cayman / Lease
Hi guys,
I'm strongly considering adding another Porsche to the stable and the Cayman 718 has my attention.
I would like to lease a stripped out base model with only options selected being 14 way sport seats, PDK and GT Silver Metallic. These are around 62k MSRP.
Ideally I'd like to do 10,000 miles 24 - 36 months and keep in the low $600 range. Ive never done a lease before so if anyone has any suggestions on how to go about negotiating and getting the best deal on a lease with Porsche I'd be very interested in your experience.

Very little to negotiate on a lease other then agreed upon Purchase price. The Money Factor and Residual Value are set by Porsche. Sometimes the dealer will try to mark up the money factor to earn back some coin, so a little research to see what the prevailing rates are would be wise.

Thank you Disden.
Anyone know what I can expect to pay? I have seen a $599 per month excluding tax deal offered from Porsche with 6k down - 24 months (based on a 67k msrp) - mine would have far less options selected (63k)

What kind of target in numbers can I realistically expect to negotiate off MSRP on a new base Cayman (especially if I order one). On my new C7 GrandSport I got 9k off MSRP. On my GT350 I was lucky to pay FULL msrp. Where does Porsche stand?

From experience, 6-7% off is super easy to come by without much haggling. Getting to know your local folks may net you a few more % points based on what they “need” to move or your relationship. Also, if you add a year (or 2) maintenance contract, residual gets bumped up 1%, effectively paying for the maintenance (first year is already included), so you’re saving there.
Ymmv. Good luck!!!
