I thought the same - GT4 touring - but the brakes are from the S/GTS. GT4 has much bigger brakes, especially in the rear. And we know since the introduction of the T it's not the T either because the exhaust and diffuser are indeed pointing to the GT4. Catch 22 is killing me!

Just talked to a friend of mine working for Porsche Zuffenhausen. He heard that next to the naturally aspirated 718 Cayman GT4, Porsche will introduce a GT4 Touring version without a spoiler but all of the naturally aspirated flat-six fun! Excitement!
P.S. He also confirmed the 718 Spyder with the same downsized naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six from the 991.2 GT3 as in the 718 GT4!

Photos have been showing up for a year. Same old rumors. Same old speculation. Nothing new to see here. Incredible...what is the record for the longest, most speculated about Porsche ever.....this 982 GT4 needs to be in the running.

This -^.
Whatever it is, Porsche’s doing an unusually-good job of leaking nothing but pictures.

Is there any functional benefit to have the exhaust split wide as opposed to the center design on the 3/RS/caymans?

Good point about the diffuser but is the new design (along with the big diffuser) better than the previous design with center exhaust and much smaller diffuser?
