Very pretty car, highly optioned. I also like the yellow/black combo. But, $110K for a 718S (!!) Use it well.

If it's not rude to ask, did you get a discount from MSRP? And how much?

Thanks!

Good call! Definitely something to consider adding to this "bumblebee" build.

Guess you didn't play with the configurator. I could have configured my 981 CGTS over $125K (settled for $100K). So a 718 GTS is at least that high. The GTS interior package was about the same as my leather with black aluminum alternative, by the way. After PCCBs, what gets you mostly there are the C/F, painted and leather options. Then other crap like voice control, etc.

Great question. As much as I would have liked yellow gauges aesthetically, I realized that the easiest on my eyes during driving is having the gauges without any bright coloring.

I did - 5%. Given the limited allocations, I was pleased with that. Life is too short and the good will of the people who are going to service the car is too important to haggle too much over some things.

Looks pretty cool and sharp. The rims are tastefully done; and, match perfectly with the color. Yellow is one of my favorite colors. However, Racing Yellow is an interesting hue. It seems to show differently under different lighting conditions. Did you get a chance to check it out in a variety of lighting conditions? Regardless, it is still cool.

Actually, I did, there's a Cayman S at my dealer in the same color -- and with the same wheels, as well. It's not for the faint of heart!

I would add racing yellow seat belts. It would add some pop to the black interior. I have guard red belts in my white/black 981 Cayman GTS, ordered same in GT silver/black 991.2 GTS. I keep the passenger belt buckled so it won't rattle, and it looks good.

That is indeed a nice suggestion; I had considered it and decided against it because of the dirt factor with light-colored seat belts, other folks have advised against it for that reason.

As noted in my edited original post, I decided to scrap the black rear wing paint, and go to yellow body color instead, and to add the Sport Seats Plus Backrest Shells in Leather, which eliminates the silver colored backing that doesn't go with the color scheme. The revised build is here: http://www.porsche-code.com/PJQ4XML1. Here's the new view:
