Default New Cayman S owner

Just picked up a 2016 Cayman S Friday afternoon. Took it for a few fun rides over the weekend. So far it's been great. Please see the pics below and yes, I have already ordered clear side markers..

Nice color combo, congrats. White markers will look really good.

Eh, might as well scratch up the bottom now, get it out of the way early :-)

if you really owned one of these cars you would have known about a/c and coolant pieces getting damaged by curb

Need practice with eyeballing the curb below the side mirrors trick. If you look at the distance between the curb / bottom of your side mirror when you're sitting in normal driving position, you'll always pull up the same to every curb without looking at it

I have a Cayman S and I do my own work on it so, yes, I know where the important bits are up front. I was being flip about the scratching issue. But feel free to stay classy!

JMT, yeah, if there's a foot high curb and you drive really fast into it, you can damage some of the hoses up front. So don't do that, 'kay?

Thanks for the warnings on the curb. It didn't scrape at all, but I need to get a feel for where the front is.
