93 GTS Dyno numbers
First time dynoing my GTS. Only mod is the motorsport xover with cat delete.with k and n filter best was 339.2 hp and the torque was around 350ftlbs. I dont have my dyno sheet in front of me at the moment. I was happy with these numbers. air filter gained about 2 to 3 hp over the stock paper filter and smoothed out curve just a bit. I will be taking it to the 1/4 mile track in July. With my 11 inch rear wheels and 295 mm tires i wont spin and should easily break into the 12's.

Must be a 5spd. My auto's with no alterations what so ever are no where NEAR those numbers! Both are VERY close at 286 RWHP, and 306 RWTq.
I would LOVE to see some numbers closer to those FOR SURE! That is STRONG with such minimal mods.

These numbers are at the wheels?? And corrected? If so, that is one amazing GTS. However, there's no way you will get into the 12's on the 1/4 mile unless you are close to 400rwhp.

Thanks guys. This was an auto converted to a 5 speed with an 85 unit and a dual disk clutch. It was done on a dynojet research whatever that means. I used to have a 6 speed 2000 trans am that had 342.7 whp. I repeatedly ran 13.1's spinning through first and second. that is what i am basing my numbers on.

My '93 A/T GTS, also with Motorsport X-pipe (but without cat. delete) dynoed at 293 rwhp and 307 ft. lbs. Altitude was ~4300' above sea level.

This is why you should always use a correction factor for your specific environmental conditions. When doing any dyno, always ask if this was used and what it is. 4,300ft of altitude is enough for a significantly lower uncorrected HP reading.

I was there. They used SAE correction. We were all surprised and impressed with the numbers. My '85 dyno-ed at 291 with just the crossovers, high flow cats and Autothority chips. Tony was at 330 or 340 at the wheels with his SC-ed 84 (I think) and that beautiful Mustang fastback topped out at 299 when they got the timing adjusted. I think those numbers are on the high side of believable. There was also a Mitsubishi turbo something or other that got up to 346.
SAE Correction factor (0.99), humidity on my sheet says 37%, 29.94 in on the barometer and the altitude is about 40 feet above sea level (right next to Lakewood airport in NJ ).
James, post the sheet so they can all see it! (and no, I don't think hooking up will be a problem with those monster wheels on there)
