Default Clear corner lights

Hi all,
I have a white '95 U.S. coupe and would like to replace the stock yellow corner/turnsignal lenses with clear ones. Where is a good source for those and do I need to modify anything to intall them?
Thanks,
JP

I picked up both sets for our 993's at Performance Products in Van Nuys, CA (versions for cars with the bumperettes).

Default Performance Products v.s. Automotion

Thanks for the info. I looked online for these at Automotion which is supposed to be Performance Products subsidiary for Porsche parts, and couldn't find them. Are they listed some other way or just available by contacting them?

They should be online at automotion. You can get OEM ones from Sunset for half that price if you want to cut them yourself.

I see 2 parts, different in price, but same description?

$109 each:

$81 each

What am I missing?

Yeah, I don't get that either. But maybe one is a shorty (already cut for the bumperette) and the other is a long one(?) They probably just didn't bother using two different pics. fwiw, the ones I got were the shortys for USA (I have the bumperettes still on.) They cost about the same (a bit more) as automotion's $81 ones.

If you install the long ones, do you have to pull the bumper cover and do body work where the bumperette was, or do they just fit over the space formerly covered by the bumperette?

afaik, you have to cover the gap (body work) where the bumperette was located. There's a DIY here: http://www.pcarworkshop.com/index.ph...ng_Bumperettes

With the long ones, you have to fill the leftover holes and respray. Lots of people buy the long ones, and cut off the extra length, then put a bead of clear silicone to seal and you'll never notice they were cut.
