Default Which Green Giant Injectors?

I see a couple different sellers on Ebay offering 42lb Bosch Green Giant Injectors.

One lists the part # as 028 015 0558
The other lists the part # as 028 015 5968

Thoughts? Advice? It looks like the 5968 is for Volvo, 12.2 Ohms, and the 0558 is for Ford applications at 14.4 Ohms....

What John said makes sense, since my 30lb injectors are for Fords, if memory serves. I just wanted to double check to make sure...I want to avoid doing things twice if possible.

It's the "F" in the F302 part of the number that define the 42# version.

I believe they are both Bosch made parts.

Guys,

Just a related question. I am still looking to find someone within reasonable distance sharktune my car so that I can get rid of the BEGI unit. Is the consensus to go with 42 pound injectors over the 36? (I'm running 24 now)

Thanks and sorry for the Hijack.

DR uses 30# and gets around 450rwhp on a GT. So it depends on your likely power target, and if you are likely to raise the boost in future.

I am moving to 42lb simply because I think you can run a lower duty cycle at normal fuel pressure--at least, that seems to be Tony's experience. I don't really envision using a smaller pulley (which would probably require another project to add additional idlers and moving the tensioner to the other side to prevent belt slip), but nice to know I have the latitude to do so.

The only trepidation I have is that Tony has seemed to have an issue with flooding with the bigger injectors--but Louie did a similar project with a 90GT and didn't report any problems after tuning.

Yes, 470ish RWHP and according to my SharkTuner Run File, 11.93 A/F Ratio @ 6342rpm with 82.5% Injector Duty Cycle.

If your long term goal is 500rwhp and more you should go ahead and install the 42s. FYI, 42s can be tuned perfectly using the SharkTuner.

Thanks DR. I have used #30 set Niklas used in his S4 before #42's that are in it now. Based on your numbers those #30's should be enough for NA 6.5L with usual mods like S3 cams, 968 intake valves and later on also 3" headers and exhaust.
