OK, I have to ask,...how do you know when your spoiler isn't going up at 75 mph? It's sort of like the light inside the refrigerator thing.
Or is it stuck in the deployed position?

There is a button to deploy and retract the spoiler even with the car stopped and you can actually see it deploy in the rear view mirror when driving, I do.

Interesting,, for the life of me I cant see it up.. Maybe because it only goes up slightly.
Next time I up over 75 mph I ll check it out.
thanks for the info.

Interesting timing... I got the spoiler failure msg yesterday while driving home from a quick shopping trip. Power cycling the car removed the "info" msg. Then I manually actuated it via the button, and saw it rise a tiny bit in the rear-view mirror. The next button press lowered it.
Of course, I then got to 75 on a deserted country road to test it again, and now it seems to be working fine. Let us know what you find out from the dealer. I expect mine will eventually need the same repair.

Funny. I've had the same thing intermittantly, got a psm fail at the same time once. Took it in Friday, they replaced a faulty sensor relay. I see a pattern guys, when's the recall?
Better to take it in and get it documented at least.

On mine they found a relay in the passenger side door that was loose, apparently it feeds the spoiler and other crap in the rear of the car. Mine did the exact same thing as yours.

Final input from dealer is "cant recreate customer concern" They checked her out and said the computer had no hard failure codes which means apparently it may have been erased after subsequent successful operations. They checked the hydraulics and the electrical relays and connectors and said all was in order. Will report back if it happens again. Maybe shes just telling me to drive her more
